2007 Review: the crafty, fastball left-hander became the first American League picture to win 14 games in 2007. C.C. Sabathia has showed remarkable success for the Cleveland Indians since posting a resounding 17-5 rookie record in 2001. The power-house, 6-ft 7-inch, 250-pounder has won in double numbers every season so far, 2001-07.

C.C. Sabathia improved his season numbers to 14-6 by out-pitching Minnesota's Johan Santana 5-2 Friday night (August 3, 2007) CC Sabathia worked 6 strong innings, allowing just 2 runs for his AL leading victory.
