Baseball History Tom Kinslow carried the reputation as one of the best catchers in baseball during the Dead Ball Era. He was quick with a strong throwing arm and was rated by pitchers as a good pitch caller. He played ten seasons of professional baseball and compiled a .266 career batting average and a respectable .923 fielding average in 373 games as a catcher, 1886-1892. |
