Since joining the Colorado Rockies in 2004 after his tenure in the minors with Carolina AA where he batted .276 in 130 games, Matt Holliday has improved his batting stats every season, and last season, 2006, certainly showed he can power big league pitching, .326 batting average 45 doubles, 34 home runs, 119 Runs, 114 RBI in 154 games, and made All-Star team.
