Three year veteran, right-fielder Brad Hawpe hit a career-high .296 in 2006 and busted out some solid power numbers, 33 doubles, 6 triples and 22 homers, and drove in 84 runs. Rockies management is counting on the 27-year old to keep improving and overcome batting slumps. The left-handed Brad Hawpe played first base in the minors and has made the switch to right field comfortably. He has a strong throwing arm.
