Babe Ruth played from 1914 to 1935. He was a pitcher his first five seasons in the majors, plus pitched a little the next 2 years. Babe Ruth compiled a 94-46 pitching record.

Pitching Records In 1914 he had a 2-1 record, then 18-8, 23-12, 24-13, 13-7, 9-5, 1-0, 2-0, From when Babe Ruth had a 13-7 record in 1918 he had started pitching and also playing in the outfield on days he wasn’t pitching. In 1914 Ruth hit .200 in 10 at bats. In 1935 he hit .181 in 28 games.
