Mame Redman was one of the all-time best catchers in Womens baseball history. She first played in Wisconsin with the Kenosha Comets in 1948, and then starred behind home plate with the Grand Rapids Chicks in the state of Michigan. An excellent pitch caller she was the backstop for pitching legend Connie Wisniewski. Magdalane Redman also played for Mr. Bill Allington and his traveling Women All-Star team.
