Brant Alyea started playing professionally at age 22 with Geneva of the NY-PA League in 1962. An outfielder, he worked in the minors until being called up in late-1965 by the Washington Senators of the major leagues, hitting .231 in 8 games. After the end of that season Brant Alyea played all of 1967 and 1968 then joined the Washington DC team for good. He moved with the team to Minnesota in 1970, and batted a career-high .291 with 61 RBIs. He played with the Twins one more season 1971 and was injury plagued, and was traded. |
