1939 Played in Municipal Stadium in Carthage, Missouri 

 

United States Government records show the Works Progress Administration supplied the money after the Great Depression came aboard and built the Municipal Stadium in Carthage, Missouri. As of year 2005, the Stadium still stands located by Oak Street (formerly Route 66) in Cartage, MO.

 

1939 Carthage Pirates played in the Arkansas/Missouri League and were managed by first baseman/manager Adolph Buzz Arlitt
