Manager Fredi Gonzalez and pitching coach, Roger McDowell, are hoping the Braves pitching rotation will be ‘as good as they think it will be”. They are planning on using a 5 man rotation – Derek Lowe, Tim Hudson, Tommy Hanson Mike Minor and Brandon Beachy.

Atlanta’s general manager Frank Wren gives thumbs up and free rein to batting coach Larry Parrish. Power-hitting second baseman Dan Uggla smashed 33 homers and had 105 RBI in 2010.
