SUMMARY
Portrait of American League's Chicago White Sox baseball players drilling in Army uniforms on the field at Comiskey Park, which was located at 324 West 35th Street and bounded by West 34th Street; South Shield's Avenue (formerly Portland Avenue); South Wentworth Avenue, in the Armour Square community area of Chicago, Illinois. A drill instructor is walking toward them as they march with rifles over their shoulders. The scoreboard, adorned with patriotic symbols and American flags, and spectators sitting in the left field bleachers are visible in the background. This is a view from in front of the players, as they march toward the camera. Men standing under the scoreboard are visible in the background.
