Traded to the Chicago White Sox in 1958, Wynn led the league in strikeouts again and got the win in the All-Star game. In 1959, Early Wynn won 20 games, was the starting pitcher in the All-Star game and won the Cy Young Award. The Go Go White Sox won the pennant and Wynn pitched a 11-0 shutout against the L.A. Dodgers. He was the losing pitcher in games 4 and 6 as the Dodgers won the World Series, 4 games to 2.
He won his 300th game after being traded back to the Indians in 1962. Early Wynn led the league in games started and innings pitched 3 times and twice in strikeouts.
